Purpose of this website

This site publishes Mitutoyo Europe compliance and sustainability-related reports and related information for the public. It does not offer user accounts, online shops, or contact forms on these pages.

What data we process when you visit the site

When you load pages on this website, technical data is processed that is typically generated by any internet connection, for example:

• requested URL / resource
• referrer URL (if provided by your browser)
• browser and device information (user agent)
• basic delivery and security-related metadata

Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

This website is hosted and delivered via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare acts as our hosting / infrastructure provider and may process the technical data described above in the course of delivering content, protecting against abuse, and operating its network. Cookies and language preference

We store your language preference in a first-party cookie named mitutoyo_locale. Details are set out in the Cookie Policy.

Analytics and marketing

In the current implementation, this website does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers.

Fonts and search

• Fonts used on this site are self-hosted. We do not load fonts from Google Fonts or similar third-party font CDNs.
• Report documentation search (where available) uses a client-side search index (Pagefind). Search queries are processed in your browser against that local index and are not sent to a third-party search service as part of this setup.

Links to other websites

This site may contain links to other Mitutoyo or third-party websites (for example shop.mitutoyo.eu). Those sites are subject to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or data practices.

Retention

Server and security logs retained by our hosting provider are kept only as long as needed for delivery, security, and troubleshooting, subject to Cloudflare’s retention practices for the services we use. The language cookie is stored for up to one year or until you delete it (see Cookie Policy).

In the current implementation, the website itself sets one first-party preference cookie so that your chosen language can be remembered. Cloudflare infrastructure
