  Thanks to an LED light source, very low power consumption (savings compared to former halogen lamp: 400 W → 60 W).

For the new generation of digital hand tools like calipers, micrometers and indicators, the electronic components are specifically designed for low energy consumption. This extends battery lifetime considerably and therefore reduces the consumption of batteries.
